What is Glynase XL 10?
Glynase XL 10 is used for Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, Treating the type 2 diabetes mellitus, Type 2 diabetes mellitus and other conditions. Glynase XL 10 Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.- Glynase XL 10 Tablet contains Glipizide as an active ingredient.

Dosage
Missed DoseTake the missed dose 30 minutes before the next meal. However, if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose then the missed dose should be skipped to prevent overdosing.
Overdose
Contact your doctor immediately if an overdose is suspected. Symptoms of overdose may include weakness, shaking of the body, blurred vision, excessive sweating, stomach pain, and seizures. Sometimes, an overdose of Glipizide may cause a rapid fall in blood sugar levels that could be life threatening.

Warning of Glynase XL 10mg tablet
- Glynase XL 10mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
- Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
- Glynase XL 10mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
- Monitoring of the breastfed infant's blood glucose is advisable during maternal therapy with Glynase XL 10mg Tablet.
- Glynase XL 10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Glynase XL 10mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Glynase XL 10 Tablet - Side-effects
